Meal times are not just about enjoying the food, it is also about the dining experience. Our team endeavour to enhance the ambience by providing appropriate music, calmness and an efficient service.

Our home cooked meals and baking change daily. This reflects the seasons as well as the needs and individual culinary preferences of residents. The variety of dishes includes traditional dishes as well as the more exotic depending on individual tastes. Regular meal times are 12.15 to 14.00 for lunch and 16.00 to 18.00 for tea. Teas, coffees, smoothies and juices are also served throughout the day and evening for the convenience and enjoyment of residents.

At Haven Bay Care Centre we are proud to support local suppliers. Fresh fish is delivered to the Nursing Home from our trusted suppliers. All products are quality checked by our experienced Chef before being approved for consumption.

Residents can choose to have their meals in the privacy of their own room or enjoy a sociable experience by joining other residents in the dining room. In order to promote resident independence, facilities are also provided for residents (and their visitors) to make teas and coffees for themselves. Visitors to Haven Bay Care Centre are free to make tea or coffee at any time.
