On Tuesday, June, 21st, 2022, Deirdre, Betty and Elma met with the county mayor Gillian Coughlan and cllr. Alan Coleman at the Age Friendly Get Together.

We are proud to say that Haven Bay is based in the first age friendly town in Ireland, so we joined the get together with a big smile on our faces! As promoting awareness of the older person in our community in the best light possible is our core value as well, it was brilliant to be a part of this catch up. We will definitely be going to the next one as well!
